I have not decided who I will support for the Democratic nomination, but I feel it's important for us to pick a candidate who understands how to avoid poll plunging mistakes. Any halfway competent campaign should anticipate boners like this:
- Responding to the "flip flop" label by wind surfing.
- Riding a tank to try and make Pee-wee Herman look tough.
- Calling someone a "macaca" on camera (it's great when it works the other way).
Out of the three front runners for the Democratic nomination, who is running the tightest campaign?
I love Obama's freeze on Fox News. He can obviously raise money, but a one-liner like "We are one signature away from ending the Iraq War" is priceless.
I like Edwards, but a $400 haircut??? What were they thinking??? Not a smart thing to do when you're running as a populist. Where is the experience from 2004?
Hillary's campaign actually reminds me of Bush's campaign in 2004. She's created this wall between the people and herself, carefully orchestrating every publicity stunt. "Let the Conversation Begin" never got started because they never intended to have a real conversation.
Instead of the candidates, what do you think about the campaigns?
